1. Real Flowers or Printed Imitations?
The biggest difference in resin jewelry is what’s inside. Real preserved flowers have natural variation: petals that aren’t perfectly symmetrical, tiny veins, slight differences in tone, and the texture of real foliage. Printed or plastic “flowers” tend to look flat and identical from piece to piece.
Good signs: the seller names the actual flowers used (daisies, forget-me-nots, verbena, baby’s breath, and so on) and says each piece is one of a kind. Every Gullrung listing describes the blooms inside it, because every piece is made with real flowers.
It also helps to look at more than one photo of the same piece. Real petals catch light differently from different angles, and close-up shots should show natural texture rather than a printed pattern. If a seller avoids close-ups or won’t say what flowers are used, ask before you buy.

2. Check for Bubbles and Clarity
Look closely at product photos. Quality resin should be clear and glossy, with flowers sharp and visible, not hidden behind clouds or bubbles. Bubbles often come from air trapped inside the dried flower itself. In our studio, the artist first dips each dried bloom into a small bowl of wet resin so that trapped air escapes there, not inside your jewelry. 3. Look at the Bezel and Finish
The frame, or bezel, holds the resin and sets the style: ornate silver filigree, warm gold, rose-gold or gothic-style frames. Check that the edges look smooth and the resin sits neatly inside the frame. A clean, polished finish is a sign of careful handwork.
4. Sizing: Pendants, Rings and Bracelets
Resin pieces vary a lot in size, so read each description. On our listings, pendant sizes are described practically: for example, the Zar-e-Gul Pink Floral Pendant is medium-large and covers 3–4 fingers when held, while the Noor-e-Nargis is a large statement piece. Some rings, like the Durr-e-Banafsha Purple Floral Ring, have an adjustable band, and bracelets such as the Dur-e-Nayab are a medium/universal adult wrist size.
