Every piece of real flower resin jewelry at Gullrung begins in a garden, not a factory. Our promise is simple: real flowers, preserved forever in handcrafted jewelry. Here is a behind-the-scenes look at how a fragile bloom becomes a pendant, ring or bracelet you can wear for years.
Watch the Full Process

Step 1: Picking the Right Blooms
It starts with choosing flowers. We look for small, delicate blossoms with good colour and clean petals — the kind you see in our pieces: daisies, mini roses, forget-me-nots, verbena, buttercups, baby’s breath and soft green foliage. Fresh, healthy blooms hold their colour and shape best once preserved.
Step 2: Pressing and Drying
Flowers carry moisture, and moisture is the enemy of resin. Each bloom is carefully pressed or dried until it is completely free of water, so it keeps its form and doesn’t cloud or spoil inside the piece. This stage takes patience — rushing it is the quickest way to lose a flower.
Step 3: Arranging the Composition
Next comes the most personal part: design. Dried petals and leaves are arranged by hand, one by one, inside the frame. Some pieces sit against a dramatic black backdrop, others glow on pink, purple, blue or white. Because no two flowers are identical, no two pieces of preserved flower jewelry are ever exactly the same.

🌸 Gullrung Studio Secret: The Resin Bath
Even a perfectly pressed and dried flower can hide tiny pockets of air between its petals. Left alone, that air would slowly escape as little bubbles inside the finished piece. So before a single bloom is placed, our artist first dips it into a small bowl of freshly mixed, still-wet resin. Any trapped air releases its bubbles right there in the bowl.
Only then is the flower lifted out and set into the jewelry piece — already coated, already settled, and with nothing left to release before the resin sets. It is a small, patient step that keeps our blooms clear and crisp.
Step 4: Pouring the Resin
Once the arrangement is just right, clear jewelry resin is poured slowly over the flowers. It is done in careful layers, gently working out air bubbles so the blossoms stay crisp and visible. The resin acts like a lens, magnifying every petal and vein.
Step 5: Curing
The piece is then left to cure undisturbed until the resin hardens completely. Curing can’t be hurried — this is what locks the flowers in place and gives the jewelry its glass-like clarity and durability.
Step 6: Finishing and Polishing
After curing, each piece is inspected, edges are smoothed and the surface is finished and polished to a clear shine. Any piece that doesn’t meet our standard doesn’t leave the studio.

Step 7: Setting in the Bezel
Finally, the preserved bloom is set in its frame — ornate silver filigree, warm gold, rose-gold or gothic-style bezels — and becomes a finished pendant, ring, bracelet, earring or keychain. Then it receives its name: poetic Urdu names like Zar-e-Gul, Mah-e-Bahaar or Naghma-e-Siah, each chosen to reflect the mood of the flowers inside. (Curious what they mean? Frequently Asked Questions
Are the flowers in Gullrung jewelry real?
Yes. Every piece holds real flowers and foliage — daisies, mini roses, forget-me-nots, verbena, baby’s breath and more — pressed, dried and sealed in resin by hand. That is why no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
How long does resin flower jewelry last? Will the flowers fade?
Sealed in resin, the flowers are protected from air and handling, so with good care your piece can be enjoyed for many years. Like all natural materials, real petals can soften in colour over time, especially with long exposure to direct sunlight — keeping your jewelry out of the sun when you’re not wearing it helps it stay vibrant.
Is it waterproof? Can I wear it in the shower?
Resin is water-resistant, but we recommend taking your jewelry off before showering, swimming or washing up. Water, soap and chemicals can dull the finish and affect the metal frame over time.
How do I care for my preserved flower jewelry?
Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, keep it away from perfume, lotions and harsh chemicals, and wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. Put it on last and take it off first.
Do you deliver across Pakistan and overseas?
